Judge Edward L. Boring, City Judge
With over 32 years of legal experience, Judge Edward L. Boring has served as both City Attorney and Municipal Judge for Pikeville since 1996. He owns and operates the Law Office of Edward L. Boring on Main Street in downtown Pikeville. Outside the courtroom, Judge Boring enjoys horseback riding, hunting, outdoor activities, and spending time with his family.
Education:
- Bachelor of Science, Tennessee Technological University (1988)
- Juris Doctorate, Thomas M. Cooley Law School (1991)
About Pikeville Municipal Court
Also known as City Court, Pikeville Municipal Court has jurisdiction over minor traffic violations and municipal ordinance violations. The court provides a fair and impartial hearing for all individuals cited within city limits.
